Write-Trak has developed methods to help parents and carers to support their childrens’ learning and progress during their time with Write-Trak. Parents and carers can contact the Write-Trak office between 8.30am and 5pm on 01474 707479. Any concerns can usually be dealt with on the telephone. Parent Carer & Pupil Testimonials

Mixed emotions right now , proud , anxious and a little tear this morning , the teenage son has just set off for his first day at Gravesend College studying engineering technology .

He has struggled from a toddler with Autism , Tourette’s , dyspraxia , social anxiety , severe OCD , PTSD and has been a virtual recluse for 10 years …. Today he moves on in his battle to find his niche in society … 5 years ago he was written off by Medway children’s mental health and local social services , quoting his future prospects were poor and that further education was far beyond his social and mental ability …

I fought for years to gain an appointment at The Maudesly in London for him to be assessed and treated by specialists who deal with his problems every day . I was right … After years of struggling with OCD , PTSD and his social anxiety , the Maudesly and their fantastic team worked with the teenage son and eventually after 3 years they gave him the skills and mindset to deal with his problems and anxieties ….

He is not cured , but he battles each day using the skills he has learnt to function more easily in day to day situations …

I’m proud he never gave up and each time he had been knocked back he has picked himself up and started again , growing stronger in his resolve to be ” someone “

I must thank the wonderful Write Trak team for giving him the nurturing and excellent education he needed through their small team of home tutors who pick up the young people that education has given up on ensuring they come out the other side more able and equipped to fulfil their ambition in life ….

Today is the first day in the teenage sons quest to get into university , something he has dreamt of since he was 9 years old … Finally we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and in 4 years time I shall be one proud mummy when he steps through that University door …..☀️☀️☀️❤️❤️❤️

How Does The Write Trak Referral Process Work

Please complete the Write-Trak referral form

  1. Once we receive a completed referral form, and funding has been agreed by the placing authority, Write-Trak will assess whether the applicant’s specific needs can be met.
  2. Write-Trak will arrange a home visit to discuss the student’s needs in greater depth.  By meeting the student Write-Trak can assess which Tutor Group will be most suitable. This essential meeting is an opportunity to establish a positive working relationship between student, parent/carer and Write-Trak.  This paves the way to a successful educational placement at Write-Trak.
  3. The next step is for Write-Trak to make a formal offer of a place.  This is subject to a suitable vacancy being available, at times there may be a waiting list.
  4. Prior to joining Write-Trak each new student receives a starter pack including; contact book, home/Write-Trak agreement, consent forms, timetable, and tutor details.

NB.  Write-Trak is not responsible for arranging transport to or from tutoring.
